Were trying to figure out what is better these are the 2 swords
req9 emerald insc caster modded
req8 vertebraker non insc 15^50 icy and +30
i would also liek to know if anyone can post a screen of another vertabraker with req8 15^50
Basicaly i would liek the opinion of the public and if this is in wrong forum will a mod pls move it to a proper one.

One's a caster weapon, the other deals icy damage and is meant for a warrior.
There is no "better". The Emerald Blade is more valuable, but they're equally as good.

Erm, what the other guy said. Are you asking which is more expensive? Which is prettier? Cause 'better' really depends on what you're using it for.

Emerald edge or Emerald blade?
Either way, if it's for a warrior, I think the Vertebreaker is a sweet skin.
For a caster, I love the "edge" design. (My Mesmer uses a Violet edge, but to each their own)
Emerald blade does nothing for me, personally.
And as said above, mods mean very little when pricing weapons, unless we are talking about non-inscriptable weapons, in which case the inherent mod must be perfect.

Vertebreaker is terrible, Emerald is rare/expensive/etc.

Meh id sell em both, Fugly skins, but ofc if would need to use vertebreaker for war and emerald for monker/other caster

Emerald is a beautiful blade. Vertebreaker is not. These are both my opinion. If it's me, and it's intended to be used on a Warrior (thus dropping adequate attribute points in Swordsmanship), I'd sell both and buy an r11 Emerald Blade. Make some money and still have an awesome weapon to show for it. Come to think of it, since casters don't need the Swordsmanship req, if it's for a caster I'd cheap out and buy an r13 =).
P.S. This is assuming by "Emerald" you meant Emerald Blade not Emerald Edge. If it's the first, what I already said. If it's Emerald Edge, it goes on a caster or is sold.

vertebreaker I would say is technically more rare. R8 WITH inherent 15^50 makes anything go through the roof and vertebreaker is a decent skin. However, it would require you to find a wealthy collector if you wished to sell it. Emerald blade r9. is rare and expensive and will probably sell much sooner. seeing as the emerald balde would sell for a alot and much sooner, i would consider it more valuable in terms of immediate cash gain. However, if you have the patience to wait for a good price offer on the vertebreaker, i would say it should fetch a higher price.

The one that can take inscriptions is far more versatile and therefore obviously better.
In terms of requirement:
If you're a warrior with a sword you're probably going to be 9 or above in swordsmanship.
If you're a caster the requirement is irrelevant, or why do you have swordsmanship 8 as a caster?
