i have tried the idiots of ncsoft support, but the freaking nbs, dont know wat is the cause.

i tried every thing here, from port fowarding to run the game in dx7, and nothing happens....

my specs are:

8800 gts 320 mb, 4 gb ddr 2 800, monitor sony wega fullhd, e6750 core 2 duo, os vista 32 bits.

yeah, i have reinstalled the game like 3 times, in diferent hds, and nothing happens too...

i always played with this same pc, but since 2 months im in this dramatic shit.

Here are few suggestions from my own experience, if you haven't tried these yet.

When GW load screen halts at 100%, open 'Windows Task Manager' and see if there is any other application using lot of RAM or consuming major CPU resource. 'Gw.exe and System Idle Process' should the two applications using 40-50% CPU resource (in my case) which is normal.

If there is any other application that you think shouldn't be using major resource, try ending those applications (careful with SYSTEM apps).

An example in my case was with Fraps....
While in game when I start or end a benchmark or record/end at screen loading point, loading screen halts at 100% even when my character/npcs have loaded as I can hear them cast enchantments in the background.
In this case the only way to resolve the loading screen is to enter 'Windows Task Manger' and end Fraps by force and my GW loading screen disappears.

If you have updated graphics card driver, try going back the driver version you were on 2 months back. You may want try removing any major updates made recently. Also you can try the opposite and install Vista SP2 beta (advised to experience users only). I’ve installed SP2 and tired GW, haven’t had any issues never had any issue in SP1 either.

If you haven’t removed all restore points, you may want to check if you have any restore points left dating 2 months back and try restoring close to that point. It’s a good way to restore previous windows drivers/updates back if you are not sure which windows updates could be causing this issue.

It could be firewall related. Try turning off windows firewall and/or putting gw.exe on the exceptions list.
