Faction Rewards - Messed Up

I don't know what A.Net was thinking, but see here.

For 1k you can get a scroll to Elite Area in Cantha.
For 5k you can get amber or jade.

For 5 scroll (5k total, 1k each) you get 500g.
For 1 rare material you will get 350g or 320g if you sell it, you have to pay 450 or 420 respectively if you want to buy (checked 30 seconds ago).

So who honestly will use the 5k for rare material option when transferring faction? I mean, come on. With both options you get same the amount of faction for title/alliance, but when you buy scrolls you either save 20-50g (if you wanted to buy them anyway) or gain 120-150g on every 5 scrolls (if you sell them).

Maybe at least make the faction from Amber/Jade doubled? I know you expected the prices to skyrocket, but they are slowly going back to the previous level. Demand hasn't changed, we just have one useless faction transfer option.

One of the most moronic decisions that came out of that update.
Set the price back to 1k now that the initial spike of retroactive faction passed (or possibly 2k - but 5 is just insane!) - because no-one that is earning massive amounts of faction is dumb enough to trade them in for rocks. If you are earning faction - you are earning it for the title.

This is true but some scrubs are bæd and AB for money. And on my second account I buy jade as well.
I guess they just wanted jade/amber to more expensive (WHY?). Well they succeeded:P

Dont understand why the 5K hike appeared.... I think it should revert to the 1K again.... however the extra amber/jade could have resulted in like 50K more for people when update came in... perhaps a way to limit cash injection like the refusal to populate books...

As far as I'm concern, anything done out of concern for the "economy" is bull, and I can prove it with two words.

Massive influx of Zkeys the 2nd(ish) week of every month.

My monk is getting Elite Kurzick armor one of these days so I feel the pain every time I go donate. Do I want to save a little cash or do I want to hurt my title's growth?

Personally I think if you're in a Kurzick or Luxon alliance, any donation options towards that respective title should be doubled.
