Combine with intensity for even more damage.
As an example, since Meteor Shower always increases by 7 damage per level, it would do 189 Fire Damage at 26 fire magic, plus a 25% bonus from Intensity would be 236 fire damage per hit. If you were optimistic and assumed you could somehow keep Intensity up for the entire duration of Meteor shower, that would total 708 Fire Damage and 3 Knockdowns.
Any other insane things possible with the update?

Although even a very high Fire Magic attribute would probably still pale in comparison to armor ignoring magics in Hard Mode. I quit my Ele.

You can still get 20 in pvp, and in pve. Tis still pretty funny. I really think they should change the functionality of double dragon, maybe make the +2 fire apply to the next 2..3 spells, or just not let it be completely cycled.

Death can go up to 22:

I don't know if any other magic attributes can go higher than 21. And all attributes can go to 20 with major con usage.

12 Death + 1 headpiece + 3 superior rune + 1 Grail + 1 Golden Egg + 1 Candy Apple + 1 AotL + 1 staff bonus = 21. Even though the staff bonus is 20%, you'll still have 20 as long as you can keep everything up. As for the flesh golem...GOGO Arcane Mimicry for both AotL and Flesh Golem on your bar?
