Customized weapons question
king swift
Ok, so here is the scoop. My little 7 year old brother accidentally customized my r8 chrystalline sword to my monk. Dont ask how, too long of an explanation. I was wondering if I could delete that character and take the customized weapon an put it on another character with the same name. example.
suppose my charname is Guild Wars. Could i delete that character and create another character named Guild Wars and have the sword work on that character.
Thanks

Nope not going to happen. That sword now belongs to and can be used by your monk only
Splinter Slinger
Ditto.... I tried it with some armor before.. No go. If it happend to me, I wouldnt buy my bro a christmas present
DarkFlame
Its customized to the char, not the name. Deleting and remaking won't solve anything.

you are stuckk wiht that sword on that char, now u got 2 options 1)go yell at your brother for what he did 2)change your password for your gw account so only u can enter.

If you dont want to use it on your monk the only other option is one of the monks heroes.
Seraphim Angel
Your heros can use it too not just your monk. Was it that important not to customize it? I really dont see the big deal in customizing something that you keep. Even if its high end and worth alot

And customizing weapons keeps your relatives from begging/borrowing said weapon. My grandson wanted one of my Chaos Axes, but they are both customized.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, bud. Ask your Dad to get you one."

On topic, Characters aren't identified by their name, there's a special code that goes along with each character that identifies them. Say you make a character (lets call him Steve) and their code is XXXX and you customize that weapon, it is now customized for XXXX not Steve. Now you make another character named Steve, his code is XXXY so the weapon XXXX will not be equipable because the code isn't the same

Deleting your character and making one with the same name would be the absolute worst thing to do...then nobody could ever use it. Thatd be...a lot of money to waste. Looks like your koss/jora just got them a new wep :S

So your 7 year old brother signed onto your account, logged in with your monk, travelled to a town/outpost with a weapon trader, put your crystalline in your inventory, talked to the trader, selected the crystalline and paid for customization, then signed out.... ya i bet he did.
And no is the answer to your question.
