I'd like to quote Jeff Strain today since a comment he made a while ago holds true right about now.

I always come back when there's new content and it is a testament to this ideal since day 1.
EDIT: It's also nice that the Wintersday event is more or less an embodiment of the holidays rather than an outright "Christmas" event. It makes it more international like the community that's been forged over the years.
