Best expansion?

What's the best expansion for GW?
I'm getting one but I don't know which one to get.

fenix
If I think back, they were all really quite bad. Factions wasn't too bad, but was detrimental to PvP, NF was even worse - but had some interesting PvE changes, and EOTN was a massive waste of money.
Probably get NF, Factions is boring/dumb if you like PvE, and EOTN is a waste.

Well, really, Prophesies, Nightfall, and Factions are standalone campaigns, and EOTN is the only expansion. But I get what you're saying. Personally, I found Nightfall to be much more enjoyable than Factions, but it really comes down to your personal taste. What interests you more, the Chinese flavor or the North Africal/Egyptian one?
Antares Ascending
If you haven't done Prophesies, the first campaign I'd start there. The story line is good ( best imo ) and the learning curve is reasonable.
Some older players who want to get the thing done would go for Factions/ fast leveling or Nightfall/ mid speed leveling and you get heros that you can customize with weapons, skills and eq buffs.
Eye of the North is for an established player ( minimum level is 10 ) and is more challenging than the first 3 campaigns. You also get several heros to have fun with.
Have fun

Well since the only expansion is EoTN, I would say that
Prayash
Well, I meant like Factions/ Nightfall/ or Eye of the North. But I'm thinking about getting Nightfall.
DarkGanni
If you like PvE and want some decent elite skills for your characters plus the addition of heroes, I'd say nightfall is the way to go.
garethporlest18
EoTN is the way to make money, course you need Factions to be able to do that. So I'd just go with Nightfall since Heroes are the next best thing to money.
Nick Of Troy
Nightfall. the heroes alone are worth it
YunSooJin
nightfall broke the game, skill wise. So I'd go with nightfall. Overpowered skills, heroes, what more could you ask for?
Dirty Panda
Yeah I'm going to agree with most of the people here and say NF because the heroes alone are worth it
therangereminem
tech speaking thereis only one expansion for guildwars m so the best would have to be
gwen
nightfalland factions where stand alone

Factions.
I am a PvE player but Aspy and AB were probably one of the best additions to GW.
Plus - it gives you a chance to AFK for the Lucky/Unlucky titles which instantly makes it an OMG-WTF-PWN!11!1 choice.

My favorite campaign is Factions. That having been said, heroes are incredibly useful, so I would suggest one of two things:
1. Nightfall, depending on your tastes. Assassin and Ritualist are two of my favorites and there are some incredibly great skills in Factions (especially for Warrior, I have to say). Still, Nightfall is a more balanced version of powerful PvE skills and the benefit of heroes on top of two new professions.
2. Factions Platinum Edition (Factions + GW:EN). This gives you what is, in my opinion, the most fun campaign as well as access to a wide number of heroes and the greater portion of the superpowered PvE skills. Plus, this costs about as much as Nightfall, so these two options are similar in most ways.
