when a pet dies

ok i evolve pets allthe time but never had this happen,

whne you evolve your pet to level 11 then he dies, and it states agressive can you still level it to dire or is it stuck at agressive

the asnwer is yes onceits agreesive it can die and stil l level to dire

I don't see why you can't continue to level it to 20. Not sure if it will be dire, but I don't think its going to stay stuck aggressive.

It is thought, though accorting to the wiki this info is disputed that pet evolution works like this depending on the balance of damage givven vs damage received

Normal => Aggressive => Dire or Elder
Normal => Playful => Elder or Hearty
or
Normal => No evolutiuon => No evolution or Hearty
