Monk hairstyle - HELP please :(

So, I am planning on rerolling a male Monk for the 4th time now due to his looks and want some help (already deleted a KoABD Monk, then a LSurvivor one...). I'm getting my first set of FoW armor soon (finally) and I really must be sure I won't have to reroll again.



His hair is #4, blonde, that same face. Legendary Survivor, Chaos Gloves and all, but I am willing to remake him.

At first, the hair was perfect, but now one week later it bothers me MAJORLY. Monk is really beautiful frontally looking, but from the back or the sides I cannot stand him anymore. I bought a Bandana but it isn't cutting it, I don't want to be doomed to use it forever (it doesn't really go well with all armor sets). It limits me from using a Blindfold or Spectacles, too. I won't even mention Masks, I'd never put those on a non-Assassin (for Ninja one) or Necromancer (for the other one) class.

Prophecies' hairstyles are pretty difficult to choose from, as none seems conventional enough in a way I won't hate it the next time my mood swings.

I was thinking mohawk or completely bald. What do you people choose for your Proph monks and you are proud to show, not hiding with a Bandana or Mask all the time? Any advice please? I like Factions monks too (like the one in my avatar), although I'm favoring Proph ones, feel free to suggest Factions combinations.

i actually quite like nf monk hair styles(for guys) but female proph monk is ftw, btu if you must be a male monk number 1 is the best in my opinion(Mhenlo ftw!!!)

I like Hairstyle 2, with hide headgear (no one wants to see the tattoos :P)

Probably my favorite monk hairstyle.
Too bad the guys look better in Factions so I had to go with that. I ended up going with what is probably one of the best haircuts with one of the worst ideas thrown in.

Can you spot that stupid idea of that haircut?

This is personal preference but everything besides #1 and #2 makes me LOL. I wouldn't use #3-12 because it looks disturbing. Again, this is personal preference for you QQ'ers.

I'd go for #1 or #2.

I've got hairstyle 3 on my monk with the same colour and face as in that screenshot. When factions came out, I wanted to change it so badly, but now I'm happy I din't..

But ... FoW for a monk? Why would you want to put the poor guy in something that looks like it should come with big floppy shoes, a round red nose, and a horn?

Upier, I like that face from factions, nice Monk! It's my second fave face, the first is the other asian one with a small goatee (the one I use in avatar).

I've ruled female Monks out because I don't like their FoW.

If I just can't decide on the Monk, I'll roll a female Mesmer and FoW her up!

My monk is bald and I actually hide the head tattoo's ~_~
Maybe I just never liked the actual hairstyles for 'em.

My Monk is #4, blonde and that face aswell. I think it looks good, better than all the other ones anyway.

As for the other hair, wtf? Front is bald and hair growing from the back? I would use texmod to block out that hairstyle if you had it. Go for #1 or #2. You won't regret it.

You might not like it for not having much hair as other but it's quality over quantity.

Go for either 1 or 5.

You want a good looking monk? Roll a female monk, I say. Specifically, Factions female monks with that two side pony tail hairstyle...KAWAI NE!

I like 4,6 and 7 but personally I would roll out female all Prophecy hairstyles look good on them.It would seem that the OP wants a Tyrian I don't blame him.

Well, obviously this is all about opinion, but anyways...
My monk has #5 in white, same face, and I still like it and haven't had any regrets. I was kind of in the same position as you; my monk was planned as my main, so I wanted to make sure everything was perfect.

Personally, if i were ever to make a male monk he'd be bald. Or the shaven head if made in Factions. So go Bald FTW!
