For the past few weeks, whenever I download an update of Guild Wars, my computer crashes...
It works fine after a manual reboot, but I'm not sure why it keeps crashing whenever I download an update.

I've never had this problem before in ~2 years and I'm still using the same computer so I don't know what's going on.

Would appreciate some insight as to how to fix this.

This is a curious one. Can you disable the auto-shut down and tell us what the BSD reads?
