Which profession is best to run this quest? And which quest runs faster? Personally I want to get a lotta CC shards and farm the items in the chest..

how do you people just run past the grentches????

Steps:
1). Equip some good ol Defensive items (though nothing of this will help hehe)
2). Prep your running stance, look on youtube how to run properly
3). RUSH EM!
4). kill
5). open chest and slap yourself if nothing rare drops.

Just run past the ones that are fighting the snowmen, I usually kill those three grentches that aren't fighting but you can just run past them if you want to. If you are having trouble running past them, learn to dodge the snowballs.

See this is interesting. You wish bad things on people for farming during this time of the year. I can only assume when you say "this time of year" you mean Christmas. So following that you wish something bad on people who farm during Christmas. Yet the statement doesn't make sense. You are the complete opposite of what Christmas is.

That would have made sense.

i find ranger's flurry of ice very effective against grenchs...
btw im trying to buy a polar bear when in town between questing and all these guys keep saying stuff like "duhhh polar bear is only worth 1k. yea gw wiki and guru says so."

i find assassin is one of the easiest to run as, if you see a snowball coming your way, side step for +50 health and dont get hit by a snowball

Does strengh of snow chest drop bear?

I feel that the people that give Christmas in general a bad name are people that obsess over the wrong things.

I look at all the time spent farming for a bear, and I'm planning on using that time to help stuck friends get out of the snow, get them to the grocery store so they have what they need, take in people without electricity, or go shopping to get friends/family presents and then go spend time with them so I can give them to them. To me, *that* is what Christmas is. It's not up to me to dictate what it is for others, though, just like I don't expect people to spend their Christmas like I do.

I watched people make posts about how they wasted days farming for this last year for nothing and how awful it was that they didn't get one and how much it ruined their holiday and how mad they were that the drop rate was so low, ect. If that's the case? Turn off the computer and go outside. Sheesh. People who take it that seriously and that are bitter and angry or jealous when someone else gets something they didn't? Sorry but the most fitting drop there might just be a lump of coal, in the Christmas spirit.

People farming with a smile on their face, not neglecting their family time to do it, who approach it with a good attitude, who just say "congrats! Now I gotta go get one!" and leave it at that, or the people who are just plain nice people and aren't turning this into a big mess, those people in my estimation deserve something. Karma and all that.

Lady Ana got hers from Strength of Snow, you can tell because her screenshot has Avalanche in it. If she did the other quest, it would have yellow snow. Both quests have the Wintersday Chest though, so it would be dumb and extremely improbable for both not to drop the bear.
