Sometimes, I give advices to people on PC, or when I see someone who prices things terribly off. I try to play nice actually give them advice. Most of the times its a simple thank you or a shrug, but once in a while you get a retard, who tries to debate with you...and it simply becomes apparent that its one of the nOOb, upstart players who try to act like a know-it-all...
Wintersday 2008:
This certain guy was selling fruit cakes in bulk (which Im assuming he bought at lower prices) I think it was around 3000-4000. Of course as a trader when you sell a money title in HUGE quantities, UNSPOKEN/UNWRITTEN rule defines that you have the right to make a good profit out of it. This guy by the name of x was trying to sell fruit cakes for 200g each. As we all know (and if you don't shame on you...) fruitcakes are just like your non-PvE buffing sweets that simply give you sugar rush just like sugary drinks, red bean cakes and creme burlees. I tried to give him advice, felt bad for him wasting away because I've seen him spamming in LA for hours without his quantity changing. I told him about the 400g Red Bean Cakes in Shing Jae that can be bought throughout the year, and adviced him that maybe if he sold lower than 200g, he may be able to start selling his goods.
HORROR!!! what came next was an utter waste of 20 mins of my life which was spent on a ridiculous debate on him "insisting that its good to sell the same as merchant because he wont lose money" argument. I am regretting to ever show concern to a retard like this kid.** tried to snap most of the convo but I could only fit just this much, as most of the convo has been ommited due to the influx of spam in LA during Wintersday 2008.
This just shows the degradation of the quality of players in GW. Ive been playing this game since proph, and for all its worth I do love the game and enjoy it. But with the recent influx of new players, most of which are your typical retarded 12 year old kids with hot blood and think they're the greatest. Instances such as this is an eyesore, and just causes me to sigh and lose appetite to play.
