Is there any REAL reason for a Dervish to play Factions? I know there is no Dervish skills [elite or otherwise] in Cantha. So if a Dervish is not interested in Factions titles; why should he visit Cantha?
thing is, I've got Prophecy and EotN and gonna buy Factions and NF to get more skills for my Ele. I'm thinking of making another toon for the new campaigns I'm buying- either a sin or a Dervish. seems to me if I make a sin I get the most out of the two new campaigns I'm buying(more skill hunting and gears); whereas with a Dervish Factions might kinda go to waste; except for AB I guess. Hence the above question.
Dervish in Factions

Well, first of all - there is [aura of holy might] which is godly, but you can get that from your GH.
But the big question would be:
Are you sure you don't want to PvP instead? Because what you are asking is why do PvE if you don't like it?
You don't need to.
Play PvP.
And if you don't like that either - then you are playing a wrong game.
I'd play with a non-native character, that gets no new skills, though the chapter of choice because it's fun.
That's a REAL enough reason for me.

In my opinion it boils down to: Dervishes are fun to play; Factions is fun to play. Do it.
Also, though a paltry prize these days, it's nice to have a couple of the end-game collector greens available if you need them for a hero or a niche build. Plus, as stated, Deep and Urgoz can be funtastically good.

You don't need to go through factions to get allegiance skills, and you don't have to go through factions to AB.
Anyways, go through it for the sake of going through it. Get titles, do books, etc. There's no new weapons/armor you can get (other than green scythe after beating shiro), but there's a whole campaign.
