Hello,

I am trying to finish all the quests available for pre-searing by referring http://www.presearing.com/index.php?...=4&Ite mid=41.

Is there any requirement to do The Accursed Path quest[1]? I went to Oberan in Catacombs but he didn't have this quest for me. Is it only for caster professions or should I check again?

Edit: Also, can a warrior do Power of Blood quest[2]?

The only requirement I can think of is that your secondary proffession is a necromancer.

You need to be a Necromancer. Doing all quests is impossible. You will miss about 4-8 depending on your primary and secondary. The Accursed Path and Power of Blood require your primary or secondary to be Necromancer. Supremecy of Air requires Elementalist, there are two that require Ranger, two for Warrior, two for Monk, and one for Mesmer. Forgot all of the names though.

So you will miss out on minimum six, maximum of seven, with Warrior primary.

Hmm, alright. I found a few more class related quests that I can't do. It looks like the regions are classified:

Ashford Abbey - ~2 Monk quests
Catacombs - ~2 Necromancer quests
The Baradin Estate - ~3 Warrior quests
Green Hills Country - ~3 Warrior/Necromancer quests
Foible's Fair - ~2 Mesmer/Elementalist quests
Regent Valley - ~4 Ranger quests
Wizard's Folly - ~2 Elementalist/Ranger quests

Ascalon City and Lakeside County has general quests. So after completing all quests and Ascalon City and Lakeside County, do I go to post-searing by talking to Sir Tydus or do I do quests in Northlands? I don't even know how to get to Northlands. I am level 7.

A list of the quests you cannot take unless your primary or secondary is of that profession (not including Warrior):

A Test of Marksmanship (Ranger)
The Ranger's Companion (Ranger)
Unnatural Growths (Ranger)
Domination Magic (Mesmer)
Protection Prayers (Monk)
The Blessings of Balthazar (Monk)
The Accursed Path (Necromancer)
The Power of Blood (Necromancer)
The Supremacy of Air (Elementalist)

Those quests you can only do the quests of one of the professions. There are also 10 quests that you need the primary profession for that you cannot do.

To get to the Northlands, you need a party member. I suggest you get the Resurrection Signet quest, then go to post-searing anytime you want. Level 3+ is where you should be going into post, preferably level 6+ However, you should be easily able to get to at least level 7 via quests alone.

Finished (I think) all my quests in pre-searing! OMG

Also entered Northlands for Across the Wall quest but returned after just finishing the quest. What else remains for me in pre searing? People are talking about titles - are there titles for pre-searing? (Apart from leveling to 20!) Peope are also talking about something called Charr Hunting, what's it for? Are there quests to be done in Northlands?

Or is it finally the time to talk to Sir Tydus and level in post-searing world?

Thanks!

Charr Hunting=just killing Charr (for Legendary Defender of Ascalon *aka leveling to level 20*)
Titles availible in Pre-searing:
Legendary Defender of Ascalon
Drunkard
Account Titles

If you still think there are quests around, check this list - note: some quests are mutually exclusive as I already stated.

After that, unless you want a perma-pre character or enjoy the scenery enough to stay, no need to stay.

Nice page It says W/Mo should get 10400 XP from quests and I currently have 24,857 XP, so I might have killed a fair number of mobs.

I am in post searing now btw
