CC Shards and finale?

I have played this game since its inception and have failed to make it to any of the wintersday festivals. My question, how many stacks of CC shards do i realistically need to help me the most with the finale in terms of Lucky/Unlucky farming?

It doesn't make as big of difference to your title compared to 9 rings, since the finale doesn't go on all day, just once every 3 hours.

So, then my three stacks are more than sufficient?

Heck, about 30 CC shards would be sufficient. I think they play the game like 12 times every finale. It really isn't meant for Lucky/Unlucky ponints at all. I hope you won't spending all your money thinking it was.

No, i didnt buy them. I just ran lair about 50 times for shards and the off chance GW loves me and gives bear pet.

A couple of dozen shards are more then sufficient. They only go for a couple of rounds, every 3 hours on just that one day. It won't make any significant impact on either of those titles.

3 rounds with 5 matches each
you only need 1 CCS for each game so 15 CCS per final every 3 hours so 135 CCS if you went to all..

I am starting to thing that GW hates me. So many runs, still no bear to show for it.

And I totally forgot about the finale and have been trashing shards...

You should trade them in for the gifts instead. Free booze/sweets/party points that you can either use or sell.

Special Collectable Item: Candy Cane Shard



A Candy Cane Shard is a special item only available during the Wintersday special event. They are classed as both a collectable drop and a Salvage Item.

How to get them?

* Every monster, throughout the game (but only during Wintersday 2008 event)
* Three candy cane shards are awarded to each member of the winning team in PvP snowball fights.


What are they used for?

* You can exchange 5 candy cane shards for a 1 Wintersday Gift by speaking to the Wintersday Gift Giver [Collector].
* You require 1 candy cane shard for each game in the Festival Finale you play in.
* You give these items to Candysmiths who will craft you Candy Cane Weapons in return. See next section for more information.

Question: why the crap are people buying shards for 100g per? The only drops from the presents that are worth 500g are the rainbow and peppermint candy canes, as far as I can tell.

and you can get multiples from them. ding ding ding.

Two rainbow or peppermint CCs = 1k or more. Two spiked eggnog - 600-800g or more.

do snowman crap CC shards...!

standing/being in the festival towns during the event, and grabbing presents, giving them to children found in those town would give you cc as well.
