Character Name vs. Account Name

Say I have a character with a name that I'd like to use for my account. I register that name as the account name.

- If I delete that character, does the account name remain?

- If I delete that character and the normal reservation time expires on the name, can other people take that name for one of their characters?

- If that above is true, can they potentially also use that name for their account?

once u register that account name its yours until u change it and if u delete that character dont worry nobody can take your characters name as long as your account name stays the same

I may be wrong but isn't account name restricted to one word, and character name has a minimum of two...

In any case, the two are completely separate from each other.

You are wrong Willie, your account name has to be one of your charactes names, as designated through Tolkano

willie thought you were talking about your GW login account name. The OP wasn't specific about it being a Hero Battles account.

Correct. When I set up my account it ended up being one of my toon's name. the very second that I found this to be true I deleted my toon.

This is a security flaw. All you have to do is ask someone in the game what if that is their first toon that they made. If they say yes then all you need is the password and BOOOM one stolen account
