Post your "Stupidest Moment Ever"

So I just did something incredibly dumb the other day and had to share with everyone - I'm sure many of you have and that, "Oh !@#$% - What did I just do?" moment... Post here and make me feel better!

I was Vaettir farming just a few days ago in Jaga Moraine. On the way I hit a few bosses and got an Elite Warrior Tome along with a few other goodies. It was a pretty good farming run and after I filled my inventory, I decided to drop it all to take a screeny... then... I zoned into Sifhalla... yes, thats right, I didn't pick ANY of my loot up before zoning and left it sitting in Jaga Moraine. Here's a screenie of what was left just sitting there in the snow. Many of the weapons were R9 with perfect mods including a perfect "Aptitude not Atitude", "Forget Me Not", 20% staff wrapping of enchanting, and +30 sword. Enjoy:

Uninstalling GW and then deleting over 200 builds i had.

Deleting my Necro because he was loosing more money than he earned.

It was my main. Would've been now, seeing as SR is overpowered.

And when I think he would be 3 year old now, I die a bit inside.

Salvaged my 3-piece necro fow to get some crap material.

I have a screen somewhere.

I really don't have that many stupid moments. But my biggest one was when I was a noob. Some dude was buying a gold weapon (I had a req12 or something longsword, don't really remember) He traded me 2k + 2 purples, I accepted it not knowing what the items were and just needing that 2k. One was a max dmg Fiery Crenellated Sword 14% more dmg while enchanting req8, which I customized for my warrior (slaps self). Probably the stupidest thing I did, this was back in 2005 or early 2006, they were worth something back then. The other was a pretty crappy req8 Spiked Targe (max armor though) which is now on my Jora.

customizing weaps, merching 2 black dyes---both stupid noob mistakes but /facepalm now when I think about them.

I once deleted a character with 75k, a tormented shield, and a couple other expensive items, because I forgot the character had all of those items on him. As I was looking for all of that stuff, it dawned on me what actually happened. >.<

Remaking my main char which is a warrior since I wanna change the looks. But now I'm lazy and bored to play that new warrior all over again. I wished I haven't deleted my old warrior.

Deleting a Pvp character with 45 zkeys on it >.<

Selling a gold q7 15^50 crystalline for 46 ecto 3 years ago.

More than once.......Fighting all the way across a map, finally killing the boss, then noticing no signet of capture.

No major screw-ups when it comes to money or items. I tend to double check everything.

2 moments

1. putting my monks fow on a storage char along with 2 r 9 obby edges while i was 600/smiting and my storage was full. Needless to say a day later i went to get my fow armor to find that i had deleted the storage char for a pvp char.

2. Accidently deleting my main char a year ago cause i needed a slot

1) Fighting constantly to a boss and keep dieing. My entire party had 60% DP. About 1 hour and the boss finally died. I found out 2 things, I didn't have my signet of capture and a outpost is near the boss.

2) Buying a Kanaxai Axe for 100k +75e when factions first came out. Buying a mini Varish 75k when two days later it was worth 20k.

buying a mini pet from "friend." Telling me its low price only for friends to realize next day that he made 40 ectos on me. Great deal indeed.

WTS Ecto 21=100k

Then put up 210E and got 100k for it

1mil for 100k...stupidest moment ever

Selling a Kuunavang for 75k when Factions first cme out... (I had the CE edition... but still, seeing how much it's worth now... it still hurts...) ... Buying a Chrysocola staff for 100k, now I can't even sell it at any price;..

Merched a Q8 14^50 Crysta...Dropped 120Ecto to show of and internet went....Wiped after droping an Eternal Blade.... Yeah.... I learnt not to show of so much now...

I have a bunch of these related to losing gold/equipment... so instead I'll talk about one that's less embarrassing

I had just beaten Factions on my Ele (3rd character created, but my main and first one that got off Shing Jea Island) and had used a fire-nuker build the entire way. I decided I was bored with fire magic, so I deleted this character in order to make a new Elementalist who would use Earth Magic.

Now if I was the least bit intelligent, I would have just kept the original Ele and bought the Earth skills >_>

I would consider naming my monk "Heal N Fifty Fiver" a huge mistake. maybe if I made a Guru event "Report my name! I wanna change it", then it could be a fixable mistake.

I always get embarrassed when I say he/she... and I did that on a guild interview years ago - causing me not to get int. (thankfully I didn't.)

I wouldnt worry about having sold your imaginary crystalline that much.
