Hello, last Friday (Dec. 26) I purchased Guild Wars Factions, my first online purchase from PlayNC. I was taking advantage of the holiday special (Buy 1, get another half off), and tried purchasing NightFall since it was the only one left I don't have. I went to buy it, and got an error code stating that they limited household/credit card purchases due to fraudelent card users. Well, it's been almost a week and I STILL can't use this deal I was given. The deal ends on the 5th, and I'm going on vacation on the 3rd, meaning if I don't have access to BUY A GAME I WAS GIVEN A DEAL ON, then they lose out on money and I become one very pissed person.
Now, the I searched the website for answers to this, and there is no time frame given as to how long this actually lasts. I even contacted customer support, which of course, have not even answered back even though the message you get after you contact them states that they WILL contact you within 1 business day.
Anyways, I was hoping someone here could help me with my dilemma. When will the time limit go away, or will NCSoft lose a customer?
Edit: I also did a forum search to see what others said, some said 24 hours, some said 48 hours, others didn't even know. It's been almost 6 days, so that just debunked those claims.

To get the buy 1 get the next half off you should have purchased them together.
You probably need to get in contact with support cause theres not really anything we can do.

Use another credit card and pay the person. I'm assuming you have at least one friend? Or maybe a parent?

NCSoft really need a kick up the arse on stuff like this. I tried to buy EotN for my second account and both my cards were refused by some security check. Raised a ticket, but it's a week later and I won't be interested by the time they fix it.
Shame. I'd been taking my neice on the christmas quests, but if they don't want the extra cash, that's their problem.

It's not necessarily NCsoft that is limiting your purchase. It's possible that there is some sort of limit imposed by your credit card company or bank (for your protection). If so, the limit can probably be adjusted.

EDIT:
Found a workaround. Just made a PayPal address with the same credit card, and it worked. So, if anyone else has this problem (such as the poster above me), just put your credit/debit card on a PayPal account and use it

I assumed you had to, you know, actually buy one before you got anything half off. That's what the deal implicates.

This is the same way, load the 2 games you want then check out and pay.
It's not rocket science and if you noticed when you put 1 game in your cart it shows the other games prices at half off.
So in the future just load whatever you want in your cart and checkout. If the price isn't what i should be at the 1 half off then contact who ever it is your buying from and go from there.
