What I want is a new campaign :P

What I expect is some concept art from GW2 around this time next year.

Hit "J" whilst on a PvP character (Default Setting).

I'd like : Dwaynas Realm or at least development of elite areas, Rollback weekends, an Auction House, A new race of char with race skills to utilise.

I don't expect to see any of these, but it would be a great way to entertain old and new players alike.

a sealed deck arena like costume brawls.

fixing syncing.

go though and up date the water and fire efects to match eye of the north.

change the lighting in kc to that of the dragon festival (it makes that city much more enjoyable to be at and much much cleaner feeling LOL)

addition of a hair stylist / being able to make cosmetic changes

also add Kuzick/Luxon armors for Para and dervish

Add another para sin rit and mesmer heroes

Add Pvp versions of heroes (ie mox or others if more pve only heros are added.)

buying a pvp weapon would unlock it/ replace the current skin. / a change to how unlocks and pvp equipment skins are unlocked and dealt with

dedicated minis showing up in all my halls instead of just the one toon i put them in at first.

a rework of guild halls
-letting a pvp toon make a guild
-another way to buy npcs
-changing guild hall npcs so you can eather choose who you have as henchmen or taking them out and just making them be "heroes" but if you don't have nightfall or eye of the north then all you can do is change there skill bars but you wouldn't be able to tell them when to use them or tell them what mode of attack there on.
-maybe allowing you to place where you npcs are via your guild leader turns into the npc (like a tonic but for like 5 mins and only once in like a month or would have to pay or something) (also wouldn't change gvg).
-make guest invites free, and let members add guests.
- add a set limit (that the leader would be able to set) to how many guests and how many people a officer can invite/ kick.

add a small mini game that gives out like one fame to the volt so people are not so bored

remove the forgotten shrines map and add back the map that used to let you do a 3 way battle. or just add new maps to halls.

make it so the zahsion in the being of halls give you faction but have it caped at 2k just like the zahsion elite areas and also have that count as that faction (ie you would not get 4k a day just the normal 2k)

make it so you have to have done the dragon's layer mission to get into lornar's pass, and add a gate and npc at the entrance into tears of the fallen, who would require you to have completed Riverside Province in order to pass. then boost the amount of xp you get from missions and quests before lions arch so you easily get to lvl 20 before or at lions arch and then from there on ward everything is 8 player partys, and the boss in the Maguuma Jungle have elites (that would normally be latter in the game only the elites that you have to rezone for over and over to get, basically making ph elites easyer to get and have them match how factions and night fall is played. ) and then Henge of Denravi would have a use (a side thought is have it so the hair stylist has quests that start here and take you to other under used/ never visted outposts.)

all that is highly unlikely to never be seen in gw1 but here is for wishing also i know there is more that i could think up.

The only thing I realistically expect are the GW2 public beta, and possibly the release.

I'm being optimistic.

I expect more GW2 news, concept art, clarification of what options they have implemented and planned, as well as possibly some screenshots. And maybe one or two more MOX/Mini Black Moa type quests.

i expect the first book and a little info on gw2,im not even going to hope for gw2 next year.
told myself it will be in 2011 so i dont get annoyed when the end of '09 comes and i have no more then a little art and a book to keep me intrested in gw.

Nerfing SY! ,SF and limiting the amount of same pve skills a team can have to 3 (gg cryway). More armor sets would be nice. Buffing Spawning power , illusion degen skills and blood magic would be awesome too. But I'm getting my hopes up a bit too much.

revert shadow form to before the PvE/PvP split (for PvE, that is)
make titles transferable between characters
more elite areas that are fun (not the linear, monotonous dungeons that are EotN)
allow the changing of character names

what I expect:

updated all item names with a concise name
for lvl <20 chars, EBSS now has a 100% chance of triggering and hits all foes within earshot
new title: transfer 1000000k gold to max this title

I agree with this , more dungeons like Sorrow's Furnace would be awesome.

I have a hunch there may be a closed BETA starting in April for GW2... If not a BETA lots of info about it.

Something has to come out eventually.. Like i said either a closed BETA or More information with a rough release date.

Anet have always been an April kind of company when it comes to GW so thats why i have a feeling it might be around then.

I really don't get all these claims of vaporware.. It's still far too early for those kind of assumptions.

What I hope for: More content, especially a Sorrow's Furnace sort of area opening up. More EotN dungeons would be fun too, but I really liked SF better. I'd like new armor, especially for non-core classes. Common sets like the eotn gloves and headwear. Fresh GW2 info would be nice, but I'm still on the fence about it. I'd also like for high-end weaponry besides Destroyer to be displayed in my HoM.

What I expect: QQ when the hats come, QQ when Izzy nerfs the latest hot skillbar, QQ in general.
