Alright well, I have a couple of questions that I need answers for GWEN. I just got GWEN last week, so I'm a bit new.
1. If you put like armour or weapons in your hall of monuments, can you still wield the armour/weapon if its in youyr hall of monuments?
2. When you put armour or weapons in your hall of monuments, they become dedicated to you, right?
3. (IF YES TO ANSWER 2) Since they're dedicated to you, how will your character in GW2 equip these items..?
4. DOES anybody else agree that the destroyer bow is ugly?
5. Can you obtain multiple Droknars' Keys on one account?
6. If you finish GWEN, and you forgot to get a storybook for it, wil lthe quests automatically appear as completed in the book?
Thats about all I have, answer please

1. The monuments contain a replica of your achievments, mini pets, weapons and armour. You still have the originals. As long as you don't destroy them you can still wield them.
2. Armour is customised for you always, it won't fit anyone else. Weapons in the HoM become customised also. There's a benefit to customising weapons of 20% power so it can make a real difference for some profesisons such as warriors/dervs/sins espescially
3. We don't know how the items in HoM in GW1 apply to GW2. Nobody but Anet knows that yet.
4. Yes people agree that destroyer bow is ugly. Others like it. Taste is a personal thing.
5. You get one per character on completion of the expansion
6. No, you need to go back and fill out the story book, but if you want to complete titles such as Norn, Asura, Vanguard and Deldrimor, extra books are the best way to go.

A bit of what the other 2 said:
1) Can be wielded, but not from the HoM. The HoM is a record of what you have had at one point. if you no longer have it, it is still in the HoM but its unusable.
2) Armor has no difference. Weapons are customized giving them the +20% damage (same can be done at a weaponsmith), except shields which are just customized and unuseable on another character. Minipets are the only thing that is dedicated, and can be sold to other people/characters, however are worth less.
3) I believe somewhere it is said that there will be no tangible benefit to having stuff in the HoM. Probably a title, or emote associated with how full each shrine is, but none of this is confirmed.
4) In some circumstances its aright.
5) One per character winning eotn.
6) Can fill it out for 100g/page or you have to get a book and redo the rest.

As you can see, there is some variation in the answers you've been getting. Let me add my variations.....
1. Yes, you can still use the armor and weapons.
2. Armor is always customized to you anyway, whether it's in the HoM or not. Weapons become "customized" to you when you put them in the HoM. Min-pets are "dedicated" to the HoM, which means that other characters and players can "use" them, but they can only be put in the one HoM.
3. It has been stated by ANet that the items in the HoM will not be directly transferable to GW2, that is, you will not be able to equip them. They will only be on display. You may get access to special skins (or the same skin) in GW2 because the item is in your HoM, but the details are yet to be announced.
4. I agree that the destroyer bow is ugly, but ugliness, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
5. Yes, each character can get it's own key.
6. The pages don't automatically appear, but you can pay a small price (100g per page, I think) to get them put in the book.
