Freezing after login?

Hello there..
When I try to log in my game freezes..
It starts up smoothly (Always done)
I can type in the PW but when I press "Log in" the picture freezes, music continues, bu8t no moving picture.. I've tried to leave it alone for a while, didn't help, I've done defrags, flushdns and even re-installed the game..
Nothing

Any suggestions?

Had the same problem today. First i've tried to add -image (shortcut -> properties and there's a path for examle c:\program files\guild wars\gw.exe -image
That didn't worked at all. Next thing was -repair (as above). No results. Then i've tried to reinstall GW. Nothing. Then i've restarted my pc.

It worked. Why it worked.. I don't know.

SO just restart the computer? :|

I had a similar problem that just got worse.

It eventually cooked my graphics card, I think.

Logged in, things were ok... screen went black, comp froze... had to hard boot.

Logged in again, things went ok, 5-10 seconds later I saw a bunch of artifacts, froze... went black, monitor actually turned off.... had to hard boot.

Next time I logged in, lots of artifacts on login... froze, had to hard boot... artifacts on BIOS and Windows wouldn't load at all unless in safe mode.

Card was shot.

Replaced card, logged in today... 15 seconds or so, went black... monitor turned off... whole system froze.

Guess I'm done with Guild Wars.

Woah.. Too bad...

Try updating your graphics card drivers, also post your specs.
