Difficulty

Anyone besides me find more and more quests impossible to complete? "A Gate Too Far"- can't reach the asura gate to destroy it because you and your party are sacrificially slaughtered before you get to it?

"Band of Brothers" - pretty much the same issue. resurrected and dead, over and over and over and over again.

I got a friend who sent me a screen shot showing that when she's resurrected she has only one point of health. I'm not kidding, ONE point of health.

I've had to abandon all the main quests because they are simply too hard to do. My heros are all level 20 and have the best weapons and armor. They even have bonuses to their damage and armor. However, it's all for not. I thought games were supposed to be enjoyable not tolerated or even stressing.

um.... play better? stop using multiple superior attribute runes? my poorly equipped mesmer and even more poorly equipped hero/hench team can plow through pretty much all of EotN with ease.

The quest did not seem that difficult to me when I did it.
Setting up your party to deal specifically with the Destroyers will help you. For example fire is bad against them.

It sounds like there are some pretty fundamental issues, since as a rule of thumb you can take seven henchmen and beat the game without equipping a single skill, just C-spacing around the place while henches do the work for you. Without seeing your equipment, builds and tactics I can't say for certain what's wrong but 1 HP when resurrected indicates that you have used major and superior runes willy-nilly, and that is already a huge issue. Never apply majors or superiors if you don't know exactly what you're doing. Also, while heroes can be much better than henchmen it doesn't just happen unless you have played the respective profession long enough to have unlocked most of the skills and acquired enough knowledge of them to create an effective build. A badly built hero is worse than a hench.

Yeah, I don't recall these missions being THAT hard, and I filled up multiple hard mode handbooks to max my rep titles. My heroes don't even have any runes or mods on their armor or weapons at all. I think you should re-evaluate your builds, and as the other users said take off any major or superior runes (except the vigor ones) There is almost no need to use major or superior runes. The only times it's good to have 1 hp is when you're a bip O.o

um.....unlike most ppl think, it can be REALY hard beating those missions sometimes. same happaned with my sin, because i was melee, it was harder to pull, and i barely finished the mission with 60% dp and after 10 tries, but on my ele, which is caster, i finished it on my first try without dying once. conclusion : casters are easier to play in missions, or if you wanna play melee, get good heros. small tip : if you have high dp at the end,, pull the effigis or w/e they are called, away, then go straight to the boss, effigis will sta at where you pulled them to and then got killed.

Yeah as was already said, sounds like you're using builds you're not familiar with and applying runes and insignias which aren't suitable.

The game isn't so easy that you can load 8 skills on your bar, and 8 on each of your heroes, it takes a little bit of thought. GW and similar games are not merely about pointing, clicking and winning.

Now I would suggest letting us know what heroes/henches you are using for these sections of the game as I have builds that can walk each of these no worries, as I'm sure others have.

Try changing your tactics frequently, you need to know what works in different places, for instance sometimes holy damage will work, sometimes fire, sometimes a mesmer with a particular build won't be a good option.

You may also like to try wiki.guildwars.com, http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page and www.pvxwiki.com for some help if you can't figure it out, ask someone but these are some of the best resources.

Also try searching the forums here because some folks on here know far better ways of doing these things than I do, and I can walk the sections you're having trouble with. Good luck, see you in game.

The mission isn't really hard, you just don't know what you're doing. Use a bow to pull, don't just charge in.
