I have a suggestion concerning the tab button. As of now, tab will always select the next enemy (and shift tab the previous). I have mouse buttons set up for this.
Many things can be selected and scrolled through, but you have to bind a key to select nearest, and a different key for select next and previous (item, ally, etc.)
My suggestion is to have a select nearest key be bindable, and change the tab to be a generic select next/previous. Perhaps if you had nothing selected at all, it could default to enemies.
This would allow one to more easily scroll through anything using fewer bound keys. for example, I could bind 'F' to select nearest item, then use tab to select which one I want to interact with. (I currently have 'F' bound to select next item, and have to repeatedly hit to to scroll through every item on the screen while farming). The point is to keep the bound keys closer together, especially in a combat zone where taking your hands away from your important keys may mean you hit the wrong ones if you aggro a monster.
How about it? If not GW1, I definitely want to see this in #2.
Change the select/tab feature to be multi-functional

Interesting idea. I can see that being useful.

That's one of my personal suggestions in the Wiki:
"Change the Tab key behavior to cycle to the same type of target: Click enemy, tab cycles enmies, click item, tab cycles items, click interactive object, tab cycles interactive objetc, click party member, tab cycles party members, click minion, tab cycles through minions."
So I absolutely agree with it. And it would make much more sense.

Hey, thanks Minthran! I was trying to remember the other suggestion I was going to add, although someone probably added it long ago.. I want something for MM such as a Pet screen, where you can go through the list, select specific ones based on health, and cast enchants on them. Having to zoom way in, try to click on them, and cast your Nova or Jagged on them pretty much relegates such spells eternally to heroes.
Of course I could start a whole thread on minion issues, as I am sure many people probably have.
