Need memory help - quest in Vortex where you get ganked at shrine

Hi all,

I need to use some candy canes and the best way is to get killed at the shrine. I recall a quest where you have to defend against waves of Torment creatures that camp on the shrine in the Vortex. Would be a perfect place to die over and over and use my candy canes for my title, but I cant recall the quest. I was going to go in with two accounts since my primary account already did the quest.

Does anyone recall the name of the quest? I have searched Wiki but dont seem to come up with it.

Uh can't you just step outside and use your candy canes without having to die? Sorry if I'm wrong.

I wish. You have to have DP to use them.

I found the quest tho - Breaking the Broken - so I am good to go.

this is what I did to use up my candy canes & pumpkin cookies.

I like to go die at the shrine in the fortress of jahai - stuff right there will kill you as soon as you're not invulnerable, and it's a quick run with no quest required.

2-3 monk heroes with UA and no heals, bip bip bip. they ua automatically and you don't have to wait for the rez shrine timer. I burned through two stacks of pumpkin cookies in a half hour doing that. make sure you use two cookies each time you rez to get the max use in the minimum time frame. Also, spam the bip key as soon as you rez and it'll pop 3 bips off right after you stand up without having to wait for the aftercast.

screw flesh of my flesh mesmers...still 2 seconds to cast the rez. UA is instant, and you're dead a second later because of the BiP stacking i mentioned.

i myself would just play normally and use them then

You must really suck if you can use a stack of pumpkin cookies on one character by just playing normally, much less two or three stacks. 250 deaths in PvE, or let's say 125 deaths in PvE takes a while for me, not sure about you.
