Budek Byway clear HM

hey guys i am trying to vanquish cantha and i noticed o could cut down budek byway (to 1) with the drunken master and chasing zenmai quests. however this is not working for me i defeat the drunken master walk with him to kaineg centre he dies , but i dnt get vanquished area.
at first i thought it was a bug that had been corrected but then today on service,ventaris corner, i saw someone doing the budek by way for 3000gold and doing exxactly wat i was trying to do. any ideas why its not working?

hmm dont know what it might be..i did it too but i saved quests..so if you want PM me in game and we 'll have a try with my quests

You need to make sure you dont have any other quests active in that area. Id suggest you abandon any that you might have and try it again.

The reason being that other quests spawn other enemies, having just those two quests for that area leaves you with just the one.

I helped a guild member of mine vanquish the byway, and they had the same issue. You need to abandon any active KC quest for the area you might have, or better yet if you are not sure just abandon all KC quests except zenmai and drunken master.

make sure you dont have eliminate the jade brotherhood or am fah active aswell

you need chaseing zenmai, welcome to cantha, and drunken master or it wont work. it doesnt matter about any other quests.
