I was using Frozen Soil recently to make the quest "Duel of the Houses' easier and it was affecting res signets.
I'll check this again in few minutes so stay frosty

It's possible they changed the description (maybe a nerf for some dumb reason) but didn't change the functionality....or someone changed the description for some laffs?

It was definately working yesterday in the slavers dungeon... Looks like the description got changed somewhere along the line - even the two wikis don't agree ^^

They are probably trying to find the right description to fit what it does, although this description is wrong. FS should read:
Nature Ritual. Creates a level X spirit. (Y second lifespan). Creatures in range cannot use skills that directly revive allies. Does not affect spirits.
Since that is what FS does, preventing all direct rezzes (Res Sig, Light of Dwayna, etc) but allowing indirect rezzes (Unyielding Aura, Lively was Naomi, and Restoration.)

If the person using the res is out of the range of the spirit, he can still raise someone who is in the range of the spirit. That might have been what was happening.
