Pvp skill changes

hi,
i just got back from a long break from this game and notice that some pvp skills have different abilities

i was just wondering (in general), if that meant the pve versions got buffed, or the pvp versions got nerfed, or both!

The answer is "all of the above".

ArenaNet has split skills into PvE and PvP versions and made changes to either or both.

Whether you consider a skill change a "nerf" or a "buff" depends on how you were using the skill.

PvP skills are mostly nerfed compared to PvE skills, but sometimes the functionalities are completely different.
