GW:EN Question
Earendilgrey
I just picked finally picked up Eye of the North the other day. I had finished the original game a while back and only had the Titan Quests and Sorrows Furnace that I was trying to finish (and failing). So I canceled those quests and went to try the Eye of the North ones. So I go to Lion's Arch and try to talk to the guy there to get the first quest started and all I can get out of him is
And no quest pops up at all. I found where the crevasse is supposed to be and I can see it in the wall, but I can't get to it. I have tried clicking everywhere around it. There are big rocks blocking the way in. Is there something else that I am supposed to do to get the Eye of the North missions going?

The quest to get to Eye of the North is from Len Caldoron in Lion's Arch "What Lies Beneath."

There is nothing that says crevasse when I go to that area. I have clicked and moused all around and nothing pops up. The main problem I am having is that I can't even get the quest to start from him. I go up to talk to him and just get the generic dialog from him, nothing to start a quest.

May be a stupid question but, you did add the EotN product key to your existing account? And didn't create a new account using that key.
Bluefeather
or u are playing using a character that is not yet level 10.
just a possibility.

Actually that may be the problem. It never asked me to put in my EotN product key when I installed it. I just put in the EotN disc and it ran it's set-up on it's own. I am still playing on my old account though. Starting to think I should just uninstall both games and try to reinstall.

Edit:
LOL i think im in trouble So it is possible to install gwen without any campaign?
Healing Fool
I would say to login to your prophecies account and select "Edit Account". Then "Manage Access Keys" and "Next".
Check to see what it lists there as far as campaigns you can play.
If EotN is not listed, select add product key and put in the one for EotN

1: You can't add EotN on it's own, it can only be added with an existing campaign.
2: Go into "Edit Account" and manage the access keys, add your EotN key.
3: Enjoy.

Try it again maybe it was a glitch
Earendilgrey
It was because I hadn't added the Access Key. With most other games I play they have you enter that during the install, not after. Once I get my card open here I should be able to get it. This has been my "Duh!" moment for today. Thanks to all of you that joined in on it and tried to help!

GW is different to other games though, you don't install it, you download the client, make an account, then add keys to it. You don't need the CD for anything.

Just add the EotN key to your existing account. There's no need to uninstall anything.
