Hello All
Like the title said, im looking for some people who would be willing to help me finish of Duncan the Black in HM. I have tried this several times in several different groups, and never made it even close to the boss. My profession is R/Rt if that matters.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank for taking the time to read this.

As mentioned in the wiki Frozen Soil helps a lot vs the Summit . However it can be a bit tricky getting it within range of the whole mob. Heroes tend to put it a little too far back, so some Dwarves can still res, or a little too far forwards so the Dwarves tend to make a bee-line for it and stomp it out of existence.
It's just a hard mission, you gotta take your time, pull from Distance and avoid getting into a situation where you are fighting the spirits and Summit at the same time. Patience FTW.

oh and its slaVer's exile. Not Slayers. I was tempted to not give any advice since it is often worthless trying to help someone who doesn't know what area they are in haha.

This is the good old fashioned ranger in duncan build it works well so you might want to consider using it.

I must just really suck at this game because I can't for the life of me beat Duncan's level.
I wipe 1-3 pulls in every single time, and I've tried every H/H build I can find for it.
Only once did I manage to get to Duncan himself, and that was with a 3x RoJ build for monk heroes. Though that must have been some crazy stroke of luck because even with the exact same build I can't get anywhere near the end now.
I just can't out damage the healers... I get them down a bit and they just heal to full right away. Calling targets for my henchmen just doesn't work... they completely ignore it and just do what they want.
I was able to go through the other parts of SE without any issues at all... it was pathetically easy, but Duncan's section just kills me.

Are you having trouble with it in NM or HM? NM should be a piece of cake with standard Discordway / Sabway rolling through it. HM is one of the hardest dungeons in my opinion - Shards is doable with mass Smiters, although the boss might wipe the party a few times; Frostmaw's isn't meant to be hard with none of the mobs having self-heals, and Vloxen's is just an easier version of Slaver's since you don't need Swap + Signet of Sorrow. There's also Rragar's if I ever get to gaining more experience with the dungeon, although the last time I tried standard Discordway I did complete it, it just took a lot of grind (still better than Duncan since I couldn't do Duncan with Discordway).
But I digress ... back to the point.
You should be able to outdamage the Stone Summit healers, it's just a matter of time - they start with lots of energy but they will run out eventually. You just need to have enough damage. If you're having really big problems then you can try Lingering Curse, which worked for me in HM (although I'm beginning to think there're better alternatives).
If you're going to try Rayway against Duncan, then the best alternative is probably what Sacratus Ignis suggested above: play Ursan or some kind of tank build, aggro the Summit and unleash the RoJ's. If you're going to do this, remember that aggro control is vital, or your team will likely die before you can kill them. The standard method is: flag your heroes far back, micro Prot Spirit on yourself, Longbow, pull the Dwarves to some corner, hit Ursan, unflag heroes and call the closest target, micro RoJ if you have to, and Ursan Rage. If it sounds hard don't be intimidated, it's really not that bad ... if you do it this way make sure you have the Protection Henchmen because Shielding Hands and Shield of Absorption are the only things standing between you and a grisly death.
Alternatively, you can execute a long pull. The long pull distance for the Summit is very far - past the two Restless Dead popups to the Area Map. This is the method I've used with my last few runs and I'm beginning to think using this method makes Lingering Curse redundant; I'll have to try it myself.
Some more tips:
1. Make sure you kill the Stone Summit Summoners first, or exploit the corpses before they do, micro it if you must, or you WILL die to minion swarms. This might not apply if you're at long pull range, I'll have to try that out.
2. A copy of Rend Enchantments is great if you're running some kind of damage build yourself because of Shield of Regeneration and Spirit Bond. Otherwise if you're Monking you can use Rip Enchantment.
3. Aegis, especially multiple copies of, is great to have if you have the room. The Stone Summit's main damage comes from their melee characters, the Warders if they get Sandstorm off (but you should've flagged heroes / henchmen apart), and the Summoners once they get minion swarms. Aegis negates damage from 2/3 of these. If you can find the room fit it in, it'll help a lot, even if you play Ursan since aggro will break at some point with H/H. But remember! You need Swap, a human-controlled Prot Spirit and some method to kill Duncan at the end. Nothing is sadder than getting to Duncan and then finding you can't kill him
Anyway this might not hold very well since there's a balance update coming today and some major things will be changing, so ... good luck.
