3+ year noobs?

Ok so correct me if I'm wrong, and i know RA isnt srs bsns but, im pretty sure rezzing asap and kiting form the enemy (not running if ur the last one alive with no rez) are IMPORTANT aspects of the game and mastering these are crucial...

So i was stuck with a teammate who yelled at these runners and never rezzed (I was a squishy) whenever someone died. I just happened to say one match "I love how you never rez and call kiters nubs" and was spammed the "(Insert random name calling here" and all i replyed was "nub" cuz I was frankly sick of being polite and ignoring everyone.

Then I get the classic "I've been playing since beta noob, also get a secondary and learn to pvp" (I had no secondary cuz it was a pvp character and the necro build didnt require it. Basic corrupt enchantment)

So....since when did playing since beta automatically make you super awesome and never wrong? I admit, i've played for 3+years, and am still learning about things in pvp but....I dunno. Whats with these weirdos that think time makes you awesome?

really did play since beta but mostly did pve (very likely scenario)

sometimes in RA, experienced players realize when you have no chance to win 5/10 with current team, and give up. this is most likely imo. i am personally glad 5, and have only done RA because i just did it as a stress reliever and a lot of fun to test builds. i cant say how many times i have -not played my best- because i just didnt want to go 10 rounds with my current team. its not like a loss is a big deal in RA. he was most likely trying to save time and earn title points faster this way by losing a match.

anyway, you can take your pick of answers or make one up obviously

i explained exactly that to some guy in RA and he thought it was the most immoral thing one could do. he also assumed that it meant a person had no life and was a terrible jackass of a person irl. lol i dunno xD

Most likely he was lying. Like the jerk I ran into on guru who was pretending to be a lawyer. When I (someone actually studying law) began to discredit him, he flamed the crap out of me... only to gradually shut up once he realized I wasn't lying about my degree like he was.

To be fair, playing without a secondary in RA WILL get you crap (although that guy was clearly an idiot/jerk). I will personally always target the guys who don't have a secondary right off the bat (unless there is a higher priority target). Ie, in a RA game against 4 Necros or 4 Warriors, I'd always attack the one without a secondary first. They are likely to not have a good understanding of game mechanics and be a quick kill.

yea there was this mes in ra kept using arcane langour on me...
i was a dagger sin...

i spiked his ass numerous times over a course of numerous matches throughout the day
and then explained to him that arcane langour only works on spells/casters
i was tryin to be nice and teach em basic skill understanding
but he was stubborn and kept on believin it worked on all skills
of course he still continued to try to use arcane langour on me...

we kept goin back n forth until he said that he played gw since beta and he knew wut he was talkin bout

You hear comments like that all the time from people who suck at the game. "I've been playing since beta!" Yeah. That will discredit you from being terrible.

all it is is QQ and bullshit cry babies. it's just how GW goes, imo. the next time they say "playing since beta", just reply with a simple "then why the fail? wtf is with your bar? wiki more, imo".

i'm a 3+ year NUB =D bah, it is easy to see people in RA an just label em nub. best bet is to not type to anyone so u don't have to hear the stupid shit they have to say lol. the question is, how do u think people veiw u? O_o it depresses me to think of idiots as overt nubs to realize that i'm probably veiwed as a nub as well by many other people. who is to say who is a nub? bah! w/e, we should just focus on finding who is the most pro and idolizing him so there isn't as much negativity, lawl. ok, that was stupid. but seriously, it gets tiring to have to hear about how nub other people are multiple times a day every day. idk. just.......QQ

Didn't forget, just wanted to take signet of lost souls instead of another skill so i never bothered to add one.

I guess I will always add some sort of secondary even if I don't use it now lol.

Waah, don't discredit all players "playing since beta." But honestly playing since beta doesn't mean a thing since:
1) During the beta, most players (at least I did) ran around Tyria like chickens with their heads cut off. I believe that the majority of players were too mesmerized by the landscape and storyline of Pre-Searing and Post-Searing Ascalon (and surroundings) to focus on any level of PvP, though of course GvG did exist.
2) Beta only meant we had access one weekend each month.
3) And we all know that the game isn't the same as it was back then.

But in the end, jerks will be jerks.
