Trouble with Bohdabi the Destructive in Sulferous wastes.

I'm trying to kill him in HM as a ranger and 3 discord and henchmans but it seems almost impossible killing him. I tried to lure them into my wurm but once I get off, they all get off as well so I can't use the wurm to deal with him. I go straight for the monks since they are able to resurrect but I keep ending up with 60% death penalty and restarted multiple times already. Does anyone have any tips on this boss?

Edit: I brought BHA instead of the usual barrage and I completely shut them down and I was able to take down all their groups but there was deaths involved. Even counting these deaths in, is it still worth killing this boss to farm ss/lb points?

my question to you is , if most of the time you will be in the wurm, does it really matter how balanced your party is , caause all the wurms use the same atack, so, i say bring 2 interupt mesmers, possibly one with power block build and the other with energy builds, both from wiki, and own any boss, and he is a necro(caster) 2 mesmers+ pain inverter = " RIP" Any Boss

I did this recently on my mesmer, with discord heroes. I, too found it challenging and had to use some Candy Canes to avert disaster. What worked in the end was to flag my H/H off the rocky terrain in wurms, run up with a long bow and pull the mob back. Its annoying because H/H still want to run up on the rocks to fight, but there is a small point where if you flag correctly the entire mob will bunch up, allowing you to smash them repeatedly. As always with this type of mob, go for the Acolytes and Cavaliers first, as they have ressurection skills. That particular boss is nasty, as his spell attacks can kill a single party member in a single hit, so make sure you pre-prot before pulling. Good luck!

Also, when all else fails, bring a powerstone of courage!

if you disable the "leave junundu" skill on your heroes, they won't exit the wurms. henchies still do i think, but your heroes won't. also, for most of the desolation, [ray of ju] smiters are the way to go.
