Yes! I totally agree with this. When I first started playing in August of 2005, someone told me this was the ele FoW armor and I got totally excited. It broke my poor little noob heart when I saw what FoW armor really looked like.

If guild wars started to look like anime I doubt it would become as popular as it is. But I have nothing against anime in general. I just dont like certain anime. You really shouldnt generalize anime at all.

If you're going to consider World of Warcraft "anime-like", then basically anything can be "anime-like". There is hardly anything in that game that resembles stereotypical manga-style character designs. It is pure Western-style comic artwork. The Buddhist praying beads would have made a nice off hand for monks, since we dont have a necklace slot.

Given just one... a female Paragon set that doesn't have a bare midriff. If we get one for each gender, this could be used to make a male Paragon that The 8th may be happier with as well, although I personally think Vabbian and most of the EOTN options aren't too bad. (And as a cheaper stopgap, Elonian with an Istani skirt.)

i really think at least half of the armors are crappy or ugly in gw...
a lot of the sunspear ones are bland and so are the sin ones...anton gets better looking armor wtf!

idk...to tell the truth, if anet comes out with new, interesting armor skins then i would play more often. all i really play for is to get new armor skins and pvp a little.

there isn't much to do in GW1 i think...so many outposts are just abandoned and the playerbase has whittled down as well as player relations. Oh how i miss those Prophecies days...that was the real PvE GW =]
