Guild Wars having storage with interest would just be dumb. It would be nothing but a way to make rich people richer for doing absolutely shit all. This is quite the opposite of an awesome suggestion tbh.

This is an idea I have to admit I've been thinking of for a while. But I also have to agree with everyone above that it wouldn't really serve a purpose. And, as Arkantos mentioned, it wouldn't really benefit anyone but the extremely rich anyway.

It should be the other way around. Any money left in your inventory or storage account should gradually decrease. That's one way to boost the ecto price.

Uh, the 10k (or was it 20?) we got from M.O.X had a noticable effect to the 'economy'. Consider this:
-If Anet sets the interest rate low enough so the 'economy' doesn't suffer, the interest rate might as well not be there.
-If Anet sets the interest rate so new players who need the money get some money, the economy will dissolve into the consistency of baby food due to how much the rich players would get.
In both circumstances, the idea sucks. Consider the effect your idea would have before posting it.
