Although I heard that this can damage your computer(somehow) I decided to try it anyway. I noticed that whenever I set it on high, the fps becomes much better, and less loading lag. But for some reason the priority goes back down to low, why does it do this? Is there anyway to make it stay on realtime?

If it's getting bumped down, that means that other system processes need the CPU time more, basically, Guild Wars is stealing too many system resources and Windows says "stop that, I need to use your computer so that it keeps working" and bumps it down the priority list.

Priority changes are good for small boosts, but really, you need a better system if you want proper performance increases.

I think when you change window focus from GW, GW automatically switches to low priority. Returning focus to GW will then return to normal state.
