Help with graphics card

Hi so my system is a dell xps 210, it uses half height low profile pci express x16 cards, currently i have a ati radeon x1300 128mb, i was just kinda wondering if anyone knows what the best possible upgrade i could do? Oh yeah my power supply is only 275 watts.

Not much to be quite honest. You could upgrade your GPU to more current technology, but how much of a performance boost you would get (within a decent price range), well... that is up in the air.
However, if you don't mind spending, this will definitely boost performance. (However, power supply might be an issue)

For something that will boost performance SLIGHTLY at higher resolutions, you could go this route:
(be warned though, the price doesn't always outweigh the benefit. This card versus the 9600GT...well, that is like comparing a peasant woman with a demi god )

Personally, if you have the money, go with the 9600GT. It will keep up with most of the stuff you can throw at it.

the galaxy 9600 gt is listed with these system reqs.
* 512MB of System Memory
* CD or DVD-ROM Drive
* 100MB of available hard disk drive space for basic driver installation
* Microsoft Windows Vista. or XP Operating System
* PCI Express -compliant motherboard with one vacant
PCI Express x16 slot
* 400W PCI Express-compliant system power supply
* One 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connector -or- Two 4-pin MolexR supplementary power connectors
I don't think it will run on a 275watt psu... :/ Maybe you could get a new PSU too if it's in your budget... newegg has some good 500 watt ones for $40range with rebates.

You may be able to get away with this card:

ATI recommends 300watts, but you may be able to use it depending upon what other stuff is in the computer now.
