What Now
In hopes I am not the only one with a short attention span was wondering if anyone else had any neat programs they used or listened to while they played GW.
I got windows 7 and I can see whats going on in my tabs so I can mouse over GW and see a mini tab version of it in the corner for when we are going in but it backfired when I realized I could watch youtube when I was in midmatch too x.x

Depending on which comp I'm on, I have a 3 monitor setup. GW on the middle one, usually a chat on the left, and a browser on the right. Sometimes when I'm in pvp I forget about it, funny stuff lol.
Marty Silverblade
Since PvE is pretty much autopilot I find good music is a good way to get through all the repetitive stuff.
Felixious
I usually run a season of Hell's Kitchen in the background. It works for me. Hahah.
ajc2123
Used to listen to my ipod, then i listened to local radio stations streamed online.
My friend suggested pandora.com and its amazing. You type in an artist/song and it catches the mood of that entry. Completly free although if you are inactive for it on a bit, it stops to ask if ur still listning. Nothing really bad though. Google it!
Oh yeah, apparently you can't use pandora if your not in america due to some legal crap so you will need a zip code and register. Still free though.

I run Firefox + GW side by side (window mode ftw) and just alt-tab between stuff.
Divinity Sword
Cause I'm kinda l33t I can look at GW and a video on my second monitor at the same time . Comes in handy hehe.
Lycan Nibbler
I have a TV just above my monitor, so whatever I can find on cable :P
Abedeus
When my parents are not at home, I get my laptop in front of me and use PC to play GW and launch Firefox on my laptop. Then I can freely view Escapist/Guru/other stuff.
Cale Roughstar
I usually just alt-tab between GW and guru/other sites. As I type this I am waiting to enter JQ.
Shadowfox1125
I've got my Zune player and Firefox running in the background. I play GW fulll screen windowed for easy access.
Kerwyn Nasilan
I just keep interesting websites in tabs
Arduin
I play WoW at the same time O.o
I pwnd U
I listen to my iTunes or watch TV/Movie. Every once in awhile I will play my XBox while playing GW. Also I am always browsing guru and the internet while playing.
Dronte
I usually open my firefox, winamp, and some chat on msn with like 3 ppl doesnt hurt much.
Simath
I'm constantly tabbing between guru and irc. Depending on my mood I'll sometimes listen to music.
LeoX
I don't really leave GW running in the background because if I'm on I usually want to play it.
I'll only switch now and then to read WiKi etc.
But to keep myself a little less bored while farming, I'll mute the in-game music and launch Winamp, hit up a web radio or a personal playlist and off I go.

I run iTunes with my music (sometimes Blade Radio) while playing GW. Sometimes I surf forums like right now or I watch youtube videos.
At first GW was able to hold my full attention, then I needed my own music, then I needed other things. Time passes, things get done, I should go play other games...

I push C and then space bar every 5-10 seconds while I'm doing other things.

I typically run the following with GW:

I wonder if there's a way to make it so you can launch GW into an internet browser. Then you're really set. None of this Alt+Tab.
Stolen Souls
I usually have music playing. The GW sounds/music get horribly repetative and boring after a while. I have all GW sounds turned off, and always listen to music while I play. If I'm not in the mood for music, I'll put in a movie or watch tv.
CelticsHoops5
I usually run through a playlist in my iTunes. This seems to keep me entertained for the duration.
Faulcon
I don't get too bored. Typically I have Pandora playing my favorite music and I'm fine
FengShuiDove
80GB iPod --> 50 GB of video --> 20+ movies and 5-8 seasons of my favorite shows --> 3.5mm to AV input cable --> win.
lilraceangel3
laptop + 42 in TV + internet radio = ADD patient's dream. My kid or hubby is usually playing video games and I.....oooh look! A shiny! BTW Sante, I loooove good eats too! I wanna be W when i grow up!

I run 2 screens on my desktop + my Laptop side by side. Across the 3 screens, GW will take up the centre one, otherwise I have:
PvE: 3-4 different chat programs (usually in 2 fairly inactive chatrooms and 1-2 individuals) + WinAmp + Vent (or a movie on the lappie if I'm feeling antisocial). Firefox/Opera on forums and auctions (for some reason I've found the auctions work better on Opera).
PvP: Vent, Forums for browsing between matches, sometimes WinAmp if I'm in that mood. I'm not great in PvP so shockingly I try to concentrate to not be so bad in the future.
