Fire host the Canthan New Year!

Introduction!

Dont Play With [ Fire ] will be hosting the Canthan New Year for the first time this year. We have been farming for weeks to help bring you a smashing Canthan New Year! Throughout the day, we plan to be hosting districts, guarenteeing the best possible outcome at the end. When it's that time where the Celestrial Ox comes to visit Shing Jea, we will be hosting 2 districts, 1 European, and most likely 1 American. We shall announce the numbers of these districts nearer the time

So, how can YOU get involved?

If you would like to donate some ingredients to us you are more than welcome to do so, feel free to pm Hara Makoto in game. We are also likely to be throwing a few activities in as well, with some prizes, although this is yet to be confirmed . I will post details of this later on when we have got some organised side activities later on, such as a quiz.

So, when will this be happening?!

We will be hosting districts throughout the day, as listed above, we will be altering between districts, so that people can not camp out in districts afk and simply reap in benifits. We want people in the districts to be getting involved!

No offense, but is this just an exact copy of my Chef Freebies event? I think its great your pulling together the community for some fun and games and such, but it sounds an awful lot like my event

They are just hosting districts and throwing in some side activites for people to get involved. Some guilds have been doing that since the first Canthan New Year so i wouldnt go as far as to say they copied your event Freebies But its good to see CNY will be full of activites.

They're not stealing anything from you- Events such as these (and yours) have been hosted since the first CNY, like Free Runner said.

Meh, fair enough. Besides, my guild is running a district such as this one. So just ignore my previous argument. I wish you good luck with this event, and I hope every one who goes there enjoys it.

I hasten to agree with Earth, i know of many friends and guilds hosting districts for the Canthan New Year this year (and pevious years).
