Zaishen keys is new currency

A while ago when the zaishen title came out, I made a thread that asked will zaishen keys be the new currency. Now it looks like it is taking over ectos to me. People all over high end, and spamadan now prefer keys over ectos, what do you guys think about this.

People laughed at me when I said keys would be ectos, guess what happened.

They seam stable 4.5k to 5k and are very easy to get "Tournament predictions"
but then eccys also stay stable with lows n highs depending whats nerfed.
but I still prefer eccys for buying things if I don't have zkeys and there asking for them specifically well they lost a sale.

Z keys would be nice and dandy if they would sell faster than spamming for hours. the only reason y most z key traders do with them is either to trade up for a high parcel or use it them selvs. they jsut climb the ladder untill the brave going to be gwamm finds them. hard to sell in general

idk, ectos and z-keys seem to be stable around the same area. currently ectos a very little bit lower. ectos are still used so much because z-keys are extremely new compared to ectos. hard habits die hard. not to mention, the temptation to use ur z-keys instead of saving them for trading is pretty hard to resist for some people. i think they will become/remain interchangeable with each other. it will just depend on the preference of the trader(s)

I have around 17 and was trying to sell for around 5k a piece, had a buyer but then he logged off O.o I guess ill keep trying to sell them at that price until they crash like ectos did and then ill just go spam the zChest

Oh and for doudou (yes, the names appropriate I think), it's called an opinion - it is so important as both are just pixels that have "NO" worth - although I wouldn't expect anyone to understand that can't spell "ever" and even do a string of 5 !!!!! correctly.



I ask for z keys on my high end sales only because that is what I have a need for (to use) - no other reason.

It really feels strange for me to say: "no, i won't change my keys that get you most of the time crappy stuff to your ectos that can help me to buy the FoW armor.

I beg to differ. While many do take Z Keys, Ectos are still the more dominant. Z Keys haven't replaced ectos but are accepted rather as an equal or near equal alternative. Then again, I practically live in LA and Spamadon anyway.

I still prefer ectos... if I don't use them for trade I can always use them on more FoW armor.

If I had a bunch of zkeys... I COULD use them all on the zchest... but thats completely chance and I will LIKELY get nothing but crap.

Ecto is still the safer choice in my mind.

Ectos are still the dominant currency to be sure. Though keys do seem to be achieving a higher level of saturation. Most people will take either, and since they seem to be almost identical in value atm, who cares?

Ectos = Zkeys

Zkeys: easy for pvp-focused players to obtain

Ectos: easy for pve-focused players/perma to obtain

Not THAT much different imo

zkeys ARE* the new currency? captain obvious reaching for anything to invoke discussion?

Just thought I'd add that since I'm sure a majority of PvE players get a portion of their income from Tourney Reward points and Z-keys.

You forget that the majority of people opening the Z-chest open it for the emote and title, not what comes out of the chest. What comes out of the chest is just a bonus along with progressing the title.

Actualy i seem to find that alot of PvE players dont even know what rp's/XTH are, let alone use them.
I would prefer Z-keys to ectos, as to get ecto's i would need to buy them as i dont farm much, Z-keys are easy to obtain for me as i do XTH and PvP alot. Thus i am happy Z-keys are being more commonly used alongside ectos as a second currency. Also if i sell my Z-keys i end up selling to one of those guys who buys for 4.8k, id rather save my time for enjoying the game/getting more fac for z-keys.

Congratulations on being correct, at least for this point in time.

I'm currently collecting a total of 500 between the two currencies. I'll farm for ectos, RP for Z-Keys, and use any Balth faction I get on keys. I'll be seeing just how easy it is to purchase high-end items between the two currencies.

At any rate, I think at the current time you'd be correct saying that Z-Keys are a viable form of currency, but not saying it's a replacement for Ectos.

Remember folks: People are more than aware that the lottery is a mathematically foolish investment and continue to invest in it regardless. I don't see Z-Keys going down anytime soon, especially considering that the title is incredibly high to max, meaning even the biggest Z-Key buyers/users will be in business for a while.

Obvious fact: We have now 2 strong currencies, both having very close values and both will almost certainly hold their values for a very long time.

But there's also a problem - a stupid annoyance that comes from having 2 currencies, something that haven't happened in the past - there are players who just refuse to accept one of those currencies.
For example: I missed a cheap mini Polar Bear because seller was accepting only ectos, I offered 300zkeys in place of missing 300ectos but it was sold to someone who had all ectos.

I feel that the number of players not accepting ectos is the same as players not accepting zkeys. Thankfully a large majority of traders accept both just fine.

I'm still waiting for people to use the 6-8k currency called Black Dye as the third, no fourth, form a currency. Armbraces made second and zkeys are third. Armbraces are just more rare so less used.
