I think I know the answer to this: NO. But I'm going to ask anyway.

My son played on my account for a bit before he got his own computer and GW account, and he has an awesome warrior on my account that I really don't want. I don't think you can switch a character to a new account but I figured it'd be worth the small effort to ask.

If this is incredibly stupid I apologize in advance..

I'm 99% sure that it's 100% impossible.

Tell your son that he can enjoy leveling his warrior twice then.

That's what I told him.

I think he worked on his new warrior last night. He never did make it past the initial missions in Prophecies so I told him to make a Proph character and enjoy the story line. The warrior he wants originated in NF and he immediately took it to EotN and did some massive leveling and title hunting and put hours and hours into it. I do understand why he wants it (I don't play warriors), but I told him I probably won't be able to transfer it. I've been playing a little over a year now, and I've never heard of anyone doing that.

a net can merge your accounts if you give them a good reason and provide all the cd keys, no more ^^ sorry

Yeah, I've never heard of anyone doing that, and Anet merging accounts would be a hassle plus, only one person could play on the account at a time and since you said your son had a computer that would be annoying.

Also, merging takes both account and combines the CD keys, wiping all (achievements?) and characters clean.

You can transfer items and gold he earned. But not the character itself, nor anything that is customized.

So sell his customized stuff to the merchant - or salvage them - hold the other stuff somewhere, then delete his war. Your son can then remake his war and you can transfer everything to him!

I REALLY wish this could be possible. My wife has started playing on my alt account and now it can be hard to get to my other chars when i want. Seems like Anet would want to explore this and find a way to profit from it. Hopefully one day.
