Seeing that lots of guilds like to host districts for Canthan New Year we would like to make a list of those guilds and where they plan on hosting at what time if they so choose to post. So please post here if you are going to host a district for this event.

Introduction! Dont Play With Fire will be hosting the Canthan New Year for the first time this year. We have been farming for weeks to help bring you a smashing Canthan New Year! Throughout the day, we plan to be hosting districts, guarenteeing the best possible outcome at the end. When it's that time where the Celestrial Ox comes to visit Shing Jea, we will be hosting 2 districts, 1 European, and most likely 1 American. We shall announce the numbers of these districts nearer the time So, how can YOU get involved? We are also likely to be throwing a few activities in as well, with some prizes, although this is yet to be confirmed . We will be hosting districts throughout the day, as listed above, we will be altering between districts, so that people can not camp out in districts afk and simply reap in benifits. Canthan New Year is all about pleasing the years celestial animal with a 5 courses menu. So why not have a world renouned chef host an event?
Activities
Be prepared for lots of fun and games. There will be a few party classics, such as conga, quizzes, riddles and title wars, as well as sync dancing, emote shows and fun at the shing jea boardwalk. Also, people who attend should be prepared to cookalong with the chef as he remakes the 5 course menu.
How can you help?
I still need a few ingredients, so if you have any spare, just PM Prepare To Burn ingame. Any golds, greens and tomes would also be very much appreciated.

Just as we did last year, Mystic Spiral [pre][MYST][/pre] will be hosting an International district for a few events this Canthan New Year. Last year we hosted 3 events - this year we're aiming for 6, and maybe even more than one district depending on how the farming goes. I'll edit this post with which events we'll be hosting closer to the time, and announce the district about 15 mins before each event (we'll be bouncing around to stop the same people getting a lucky afk boost 
).

Timezones are such a pain and like a few other onlines games anet shud make their own clock .. gw time , we can see the time in gw regardless of our timezones an that itself shud cut down on the "what time does it start / is it started yet " comments we all hate in events.

I am the Guild Leader of Gladiators of the Apocalypse [Apoc] and on behalf of my fellow Co-leaders, Officers and Members, we would like to inform you that we have been collecting the various items that the Chefs required for the various dishes for the Canthan New Year Event.
We have collected numerous quantities of ALL the described items as per last year’s information and we can guarantee to you that we will be covering both the European and American time zones.
We are inviting you and your friends to attend to these events, in international districts, as per the timetable that Anet will lay down and you will not have to worry about anything else other than clicking on the items that will appear in your inventory.
So as to be distinguishable to you, and of course apart from our tag (Apoc), we will be wearing a white cape with a red cross.

The Lost Haven {LH} Alliance would like to have the pleasure of your company at the Canthan New Year feast. Our members have braved the fires of Perdition Rock for unctuous remains and ebon spider webs, frozen our fingers shattering Ice golems for icy lodestones, squashed more species of spiders than we could count, picked lots of different seeds, dug up many dragon roots, scraped the moss off of many guardians, picked up truffles, half-eaten blobs, and the many remains of our enemies, plucked out eyes, snapped off different shells, skinned a few naga hides, and de-crested or de-winged any number of foul beasts. We gathered enough trophies, based on the ingredients in last year's feast, to host all 9 feasts of the finale.
We would like you to share in our bounty in the International district, Number 5 barring someone else being there before us (hey, if more people host more districts, great!). If it changes from this, I will post here.

DVDF will be hosting multiple districts this year. We've managed to farm our way to 100 complete sets. As in previous years we won't announce districts until 10-15 mins before each event. This is to stop people camping and stopping people who might not otherwise get all the rewards.
Anyway. we should be starting at the first event and being there the full 24 hours. Last year we managed 72 districts so fingers crossed.

[GGG] guild has all the engridients for the chef and they will be hosting if for the whole duration of the event. again its going to be district 36 hope to see you there. guild leader is Aunt Zelda so just incase the district gets full pm her they have enough engridients to host 3 more districts.

Not sure if this was posted elsewhere or not--I didn't see a thread on feast order, but I gave just a cursory look.
I was pretty new last year so I didn't pay attention to the order of the items/chefs. This year, since I was handing in stuff, I did pay attention, if for nothing else than to keep myself from going nuts at feast 2. The pattern for the first feast was chefs Yan-Reun-Jiong-Chen-Tian, repeated 2 more times, then Yan-Chen-Tian. There are 22 feast items but only 18 got called for in our district, though someone might have turned in an item just as the chefs were about to call it. Happily, we got credit for all 5 dishes.

An alliance called [SOHK] has decided to hijack AD26 out from under us. One of our members received a PM stating that they plan to fill the district up with their members so that we can't get in.
I personally have no problem with this. If they like the number 26 so much, please enjoy. To everyone else, if you can get in AD26 at least you are guaranteed to get max gift bags.
However, for those of you looking for us, we will be in AD40, AD41 or AD42 instead.
