From the wallpaper slideshow it looks like LA and Kamadan are getting some CNY decorations too or did they get that last year as well?
I'm liking the Ox too. |
Canthans living abroad won't be left out: Lion's Arch and Kamadan will also host smaller celebrations, complete with traditional New Year's decorations. |

Lions Arch and Kamadan have always got decorations.
A heads up to those hoping to get tons of lunar tokens to trade for fortunes - once you've got a good amount of lunar tokens head over to LA and look for Lucky Hochei. Playing rock paper scissors with this guy is a great way to score lunar fortunes and sugary blue drinks. |

Sorry, but LA and Kamadan never had this event in the past. And I still believe it should be unique to only to Cantha, it should stay that way.
Did Cantha get Halloween + Wintersday decorations? No. Cultural uniqueness should stay within the birthplace of origin. Decorations out of LA and Kamadan please, thank you. p.s the decorations in La and Kamadan looks out of place and lame imo. |
While the bulk of the Canthan New Year's Festival, including the celestial feast, takes place in Shing Jea, Canthans living abroad have taken their customs with them as well. So expect Lion's Arch and Kamadan to host smaller celebrations, complete with traditional New Year's decorations. |

Wrong, maybe for 2008, but before 08, there were no such events in LA and Kamadan. The quote, "Canthans bringing this tradition to LA and Kamadan" is bullshit talk to me, just an excuse for the silly developers to use a unique cultural custom outside of its birth origin.
Did LA/Kamadan people "bring their Halloween + Wintersday" tradition to Cantha? btw, what's with the anger? Do you not get enough attention in your life or something? |
