I like the variety this year from the comic, the statue, the piano arrangement, stuffed polar bear. Kind of different.

They are all wonderfully and creative. I love the first place one, it just eye dropping and the comic should have gotten because its funny, but thats IMO.

Meh, I *knew* I should have colored mine.....so much detail went into the pencil drawing so I didn't want to chance my sub-par coloring skills >__<

don't bet on it, you can find little toy polar bears in any gift shop during Christmas, so all he needed to do was put the ribbon and bow on it. Just goes to show that most judges of things like these really have no idea what they're judging.

Agreed. The polar bear is probably not hand made.
Strictly speaking, that entry is... meh. I'm not outraged that it won something or anything, but it probably wasn't that much effort.
