quick question about antivirus

hello, i know this is kind of a stupid question, but i don't pretend to be very good with computers and i would not like to do something i shouldn't.

so, for a while, i have had AVG antivirus (the free edition), but i finally downloaded Avira (also the free edition).

so my question is :: should i delete the AVG antivirus, or just let it stay and have two antivirus programs?

Remove AVG. You should only ever use one antivirus maximum, especially when it comes to real time.

If you've decided to use the Avira Antivirus, uninstall the AVG then install the Avira. Bad idea to try to run two antivirus programs at the same time.
