I have had texmod for a while. It used to work fine. But lately, whenever I try to run a mod, a message comes up saying:

Shit Happened

D'oh

Then it exits out of texmod. Also, my virus detecter finds and removes a trojan virus when this happens. This is happening on both of my computers and no1 else I know has a problem. I've redownloaded texmod numerous times, but I still havent had any luck. I've also scanned my computer about 3 times to see if it found anything, but it didnt. Any suggestions?

Thx

That "cute" error message is the default message in TexMod when anything goes wrong.

It could well be linked to your virus scanner's behaviour. TexMod is well known for causing false-positive hits with certain AV software - most notably AVG.

If you have AVG, get rid of it and use Avira instead.

Of course, there is always the possibility that you downloaded a TexMod .tpf file that did come bundled with a virus...
