Hello. I got a bit confused about the matter of Guild Wars servers.
Are the different servers for US and EU players?
I'm from Norway and I think i got the US trial, but my ping is about 170-200 which is normal since my WoW ping to the US is over 400. Which got me confused about where exactly the server is and which one im connected to.
Also, can I use an US client to play on EU servers and how do I do that? The client from both the EU and US sites seem to have the same application so I can't tell a difference...
Are there US and EU servers?

Unlike most MMOs there aren't different servers so to speak. Guildwars works by separating players into geographical districts. with the full game you can move between districts, such as from Europe English to US and then to International or even polish and spanish districts as many times as you like.
You should see a drop-down box in the top-left corner of the screen showing your district when in a town/outpost. Click this drop-down and you should have a few options to choose including one for more options. Selecting this allows you to pick which continent you want to be on globally but there's no restrictions about the number of times you can move between districts.

There's a small green (or orange or sometimes red) dot at one corner of your screen when you're playing (can't remember which corner it is in the default GUI configuration). When you hover the cursor over it, a small tag with your current ping and server IP address is displayed. If the address starts with 206 you are currently connected to a server that is physically located in EU, and in the case of 216 the actual server is in USA.
Players are automatically tossed between servers while playing, and you don't have to worry about it. You usually stay in the region that you chose through district selection but it may change when you play PvP or simply when you visit a Guild Hall (all GH instances are served from USA). Once you get used to it you'll learn to hate the limitations of the arcane server technology of most other MMOs.

Hei
Oppe i venstre hjørnet (default) skal det være en liten boks med tekst hvor det står for eksempel:
Europe -> english -> Dis 1
Det betyr da at du er på en Europeisk server
PS: Har iblandt 30ping i euro districts når det er lite folk og 200~ i kamadan etc
EDITED by Yang Whirlwind I know it is funny to meet countrymen on the Web, but we only post in English here. Feel free to PM each other in Norwegian to your hearts content.
