One Question on the NPC Sins in Factions
Painbringer
They use to spontaneously combust when they shadow stepped to a target. With all of the changes to the sin skills over the last year have you noticed them surviving? I know 90% of you probably never pick them for your hench team, but give it a shot and let me know. I am just wondering if I have a better heal team or the sins are better at surviving.

Actually, I tried using the sin hench a few months back and thought they were pretty good. Pancu in particular was kicking butt.
Granted, in HM I don't think I'd use em. But for NM they are definitely adequate (which is more then can be said about most PUG sins).

I used the sin hench in my vanquishing and the only time he died was if I did something stupid that wiped us all out. Might be your monks just don't like sins.
kostolomac
I don't use sin henchies or heroes. Used the sin chick and she kept shadow stepping in all the wrong places.
Rexion
I don't use sin henchies. They're more idiotic than some of the sin players out there.
I think their AI is like "run in as fast as possible and die. nothing more". Heck, no doubt their skill template is empty.... wiki's just lying to us.

Apart from brief stints of using Zenmai for interrupts before acquiring more specialised interrupt heroes, I've generally been leery of using NPC assassins, seeing the role as one that requires a little more intelligence than the typical ally AI. I have been considering running some on simpler builds such as Moebius or PS-based assassins with defensive enchantments, but the lack of Critical Agility is a disincentive. Regarding Factions henchmen... Nika's build could be considerably better than it is (replace Jungle Strike with Wild Strike...) and I'm leery of any henchman with Viper's Defense in any area that has congestion.

Don't take Assassin henchmen unless you want lulz.
Little Shenanigan
i stopped using them because they would leeroy in and die.

I used them the other day (Panaku and Emi I think, both in 1 vanq) and they were pretty good. They'd teleport to different targets to each other, and zerg things before teleporting/running back.
The only downside was that if I called a target, and they'd already teleported in to start killing, they'd ignore their target and go for mine...which meant they had no skills charged to use on it.

assuming I want dps chars as frontline I'd rather stick to warriors, still, I think the sins are useful when you build around [barbs], [mark of pain] of [splinter weapon].

I was messing around with sin henchies coz most of them use flashing blades and thats a good thing coz mobs lock on them alot therefore being blocked and damaged, I also used gurdian henchies to add extra block I cant say they asploded that much not at all! But tbh I gave up the idea coz it wasnt a big deal of damage but who I really re-discovered was guardian hench who really helped with protectors defense and dragon slash.
