I've been looking to get back into Guild Wars, but for the life of me I can't work out my password. I've tried all the usual roots, and had no luck. Since I've been playing, the account management has stopped being run in-house and is now done with PlayNC, but they've been completely useless in retrieving my details. I used to use this site a couple of years ago and thought you guys might be able to help.
Twice now I've sent in support requests and had an auto-reply and then no follow up information.
The in-game account retrieval takes me to the PlayNC site, but of course, when I played there was no PlayNC account, so my PlayNC account isn't linked to my account.
I know the account name, have access to the email it's registered too, and know the character names, but I can't find the CD keys or password registered to the account. According to the PlayNC FAQ, I should be able to link my account on this page - http://f.imagehost.org/0267/playncaccount.jpg
However, as you can see, there's no options to add anything on there... Is there anything else I can do that I'm overlooking?

Isn't there a "Forgot your password?" thing somewhere around, where they email you the pword to your acount name (Email address)?

I never used the PlayNC account number ( don't have one either ) when looking for support. Just stick my name/character and offer a key code if requested on a reply...this may take a few back and forths with PlayNC.

I had lots of problems with PlayNC, i sorted them out but if i told you how it would still lead you to a dead end since my account was linked to play nc which made it worlds easier. Good luck getting that password back man.

I am going through the same process myself atm and all seems to be going well so far.
I wanted my playNC account details so I could sign up for Dungeon Runner and just could not remember the details.
They asked a shedload of questions I could give everything but the code they sent me in the activation email 3 years ago.
I have it written down somewhere but it might take another three years to find it.
Last thing they asked me for to complete the deal was a scan of my game codes the one that come on the plastic cards in the game.
They also seem to have several layers in their retrieval process, Give all they ask for and you get a positive reply and an answer.
Fail in one respect and you get moved up the chain to a more senior adviser I would guess the less you can give them the longer that chain will be until its sorted.
