Xunlai Tournament house question

Hi. I'm just a little fuzzy headed with regards to the Xunlai Tournament house and what not.

I put in my picks for the January Tournament, in time and everything. I checked how I did and I fared pretty well. I read through all the info on the GW website regarding rewards and what not, and they stated that the Xunlai Tournament Agent would be available to give you your tournament reward points starting January 28th. Now, I tried getting on numerous characters to talk to the guy but he just kept giving me the link to the website to sign up. Under the tournament thing that you talk to Tolkano for, my name is registered under my main character (Iarumas Regnar), I do not know if this is relevant to the character in which I pick up my points or not.

So basically my first question is, when can I get my points? Or if I already can, what is the problem?

And second, when I get them, do I need to get them on a specific character or what?

You talk to them with any character, I don't think it matters.

right on. Anybody know when they come up with the update? and if not on the 28th, then why do they announce on the 28th you can get it??

they always come the 2nd thurseday of the months after the predictions are made
so the 12th feb, at the same time when a new tonic will be available from the zaishenchest.
just talk to any of your characters on your account to the guy in gtob that tells your to regrister, he will tell you how many points you've won and then talk to tolkano to get some rewards

It's usually the second friday (in europe) of the month (2 weeks after the contests).
You first talk to Kun Shao in the great temple of Balthazar, he gives you your points.
Then you go see Tolkano for your rewards (z-keys).

Not just in the great temple of Balthazar
You can also collect them from the npc in Lion's Arch, Kamadan, and Kaineng Center after the points are added
2 weeks into the folowing month or there abouts with any char on your account not just the name you registered with.
Also FWIW don't go straight away and claim the points sometimes it takes up to 24hr to distribute them.

actually, the op's question stems from the wording on the guildwars.com website. it actually states that the points will be available within 30 days of the 28th, but is phrased in such a way that misunderstandings are easy.

(don't feel bad, op dude, i had the exact same questions first time i did xunlai predictions.)

I'm kinda hoping that the XTH points are going to come along with the Canthan New Year build tomorrow.

ok last month and this month pick same 1v1 and gvg as girlfriend she go 55 points both month (know not alot) am not getting any i tryed every other day last month still nuffing.. checked xunlai account details and there all right so my question is..
anyway i can close my account and remake it or anyway to get hold of anyone that looks after xunlai tournament house and have them look in to it ????

i need the same thing as jeri, any ideas? ive contacted plaync via there mazelike help thing, but got no reply, apart from the automatic

thought i had 2 accounts to fix, but i think it might be 3...
just need a username/password reset/info, and the automatic one is useless, and the intial registration email contains no details at all.

Did you go back to Tolkano and select the char name you want the points to be registered / distributed to?
You just need to pick a name but can get the points on any char on the account anyway
he just needs a account name to start with.
Some people forget this step.

I know I forgot this the 1st time I tried the predictions. Felt pretty stupid until I found out that it's a common mistake. I vote for a sticky with step by step instructions on how to get points and cash them in for keys. Steps right from the beginning to the very end explained in such a way that even a stoned carrot could understand them.

my accounts are registered, which is part of the problem . i regisitered them waaay back, for the first xunlai event i think, with the wintergreens...

no everything is all setup right, looks setup right just not getting any points

everything looks right just no point for second month
