Can I get Sunspear pts as quest rewards in nm after Tier 8?

I know I can not get Sunspear points as bounties in nm once I reach Sunspear tier 8, but is the same true for Sunspear points awarded as Nightfall quest rewards? I have in mind deferring as many of the Nightfall secondary quests as I can until I have finished all the Primary quests and missions, and then farming points first to get me to tier 8. Then I do the secondary quests in nm, gain the Sunspear points rewards from those quests, and save myself at least some hm farming work. And the same for Lightbringer.

But will this work?

As far as I know you will receive rewards from the quests. I'm fairly sure actually but if I'm wrong, please correct me.

Yes, you can still get quest reward points if you're past level 8 sunspear, as the quests aren't directly tied to NM or HM.

But if u want to max the title, try SS/LB runs, or filling the NF book =]

As has been said before, yes.

Also remember, if you are planning on completing Elona missions in HM as well as Vanquishing, you can get both SS/LB points that way and eliminate the need for Worm farming, as completing everything in HM nets you more than enough points as long as you collect your bounties.

Thnx. Also at one stage when I was doing secondarys, it seemed to me that I might hit rank 8 before completing my nm NF. If the same was going to happen with Lightbringer pts, it would render my book literally pointless. So instead I was planning to defer the secondaries, fill the book and then spend it at rank 8 - 1 (or thereabouts). Though I think I can spend it on Lightbringer pts at any rank, right?
