You must have fully infused armor to do this.
Enter the mission, pop Sig of Stamina and FNP, then start running west by northwest, basically the same route that the dwarf runs before getting waxed by the Mursaat. You will take a little damage, but nothing substantial. You need to get to the cul-de-sac before the dwarf, though, so that you can aggro the Nightmares. Start attacking as soon as they pop up, and once they are adjacent to each other, cast Scourge. Use Lion's as soon as it is charged, and then Defy Pain. The nightmares stop saccing once their health reaches a certain point, so then you just thwack until dead. You should have killed them both long before the Mursaat arrive.
Now, you can also get the group past the tower, but you have to have a little luck and good timing. A -5 energy weapon helps too. It's best to run back to the mission start point and work counterclockwise towards the group at the topof the hill above the tower. Time your Sprint and FNP to have as little energy as possible when you aggro the Mursaat Mesmers. Run down the hill and get out of range of the tower, so you can heal and restore energy. Then aggro the group of Nightmares and kill them the same way. It's a pretty fast run.
